Bob Taylor is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist & Honorary Lecturer at Queens University Belfast. He graduated in medicine from Queens University Belfast in 1992 and has held Fellowships in Paediatric Intensive Care and Anaesthesia in Toronto, Canada. In 1991 he was appointed as Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist, at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

He has a  Masters Degree in Medical Ethics and Law (QUB) 1997 and is a current Member of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Clinical Ethics Committee. He is also current president of the Northern Ireland Society of Anaesthetists.

His special interests encompass Ethics (End of Life Issues), Interhospital Transportation and Aviation Medicine.
